They spotted a huge whale next to their boat - now look who's appearing next to it
|
Whales are the largest animals in the world, so you would think it would be relatively easy to spot them. But rare white whales are an entirely different challenge.
So when researchers from the University of Murdoch flew a drone off the coast of Western Australia they did not expect to see a white whale calf swimming next to his darker mother.
The whale calves get their dark color at one year of age, and although it is a very rare animal, the calf proves that he is just like any other animal his age - loves to play with his mother.
As the drone flies over, you can see the little calf (relative of course to the whale) swimming near and above his mother - as if trying to get her attention. Watch this amazing video below:
Do not forget to share it with your friends and family so that they too can experience the tremendous powers of nature.
