The toilet was clogged and I didn't have a pump at home - so my neighbor revealed this ingenious trick to me

A clogged toilet is something we've all had to deal with at one point or another. It is also one of the most annoying problems at home that we have to solve. Everyone are of course completely dependent on working toilets, and then it's never fun to deal with a blockage.
If you're not a plumber or don't have a pump handy, it can be very difficult to figure out what to do when a toilet is clogged.
Recently I had to deal with such a blockage in the toilet, and I asked the neighbor if he had a pump. He didn't have any pomp, but he did have a smart tip that I made sure I didn't forget, and I definitely think it's worth sharing.
He showed me a video online explaining a simple trick to unclog a toilet, and this tip is smart and simple!
Step 1: Towels
Place towels around the toilet, just in case.
Step 2: Dishwashing liquid
Pour a cup of dishwashing liquid down the toilet. Then pour a bucket (or as much water as can go into the toilet without it spilling out) of hot water down the toilet. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
Step 3: Pour in more water
Now the water should sink to a normal height in the toilet. Pour in another bucket of hot water. This increases water circulation and pushes the clog deeper into and out of the pipes.
Hopefully, this will help you, and if not, then maybe you should call a plumber anyway.
