Despite our efforts to be green and take care of the environment and the planet, sometimes it's hard to know what to do with all the items we want to throw away.

Should I throw it away? Throw in the recycling bin? Should I save and do other things? Due to too much sorting, it's hard to find the arms and legs.

One of the things that almost everyone has at home is eggs. And the cartons the eggs come in can become so many wonderful and unique things. Think how many other things we have at home that we can use for other things.

It is indeed a small step, but in the end many such small steps make the world a cleaner place for future generations.

So here are 15 wonderful things you can make from egg cartons:

1. Daffodils

The middle part of the flower is actually the hollow part of the cardboard but upside down. Paint with acrylic paints in the colors you want.

2. Colorful garlands

Take the hollow part of the cardboard and cut it into the shape you want the flowers to be. Paint them as colorful as you can. Once the paint has dried, use hot glue to attach them to the cardboard frame.

3. Dancing lanterns

4. Beautiful roses
