The YouTube channel brusspup posted a video of an optical illusion that quickly became viral.
The popularity of the video is because it forces the viewers to look at a simple form and its movement in a completely different perspective. The illusion, originally created by Arthur Shapira and Alex Rose-Henig, demonstrates a concept proven by the Persian astronomer Nasir a-Din Tussi, that if the perspective changes, one can see images moving in circular patterns moving on a linear line, and vice versa.
The illusion was voted one of the best illusions for the year 2014 by the Scientific American.
