The bride watched her husband invite his mother to dance - the moving moment did not leave one eye dry

For most people, the wedding day is the biggest day of their lives. A once-in-a-lifetime event (usually) full of emotions - love, laughter, happiness, and tears. And this is also the day when the little moments become much more beautiful and emotional.
Maybe it's a surprise prepared by the bride and groom's parents, a speech by close friends that touches everyone's heart, or in this case, a special dance that brings all the guests at the wedding to tears.
In the fall of 2008, came the big day for Christina and Luke Riholt.
It was a special moment for everyone - but especially for the groom's mother, Rebecca, who suffered from ALS. She was in a wheelchair, aware that she did not have much time left to live.
But in the meantime, Rebecca was full of life, ready for the moment when her beloved son would say ‘yes’ to his fiancée. But what Rebecca did not know is that Luke did something very special that will make this day a moment that will never be forgotten.. He organized a mother and son dance to the sounds of Mariah Carey's song 'Hero'.
In front of his bride and all wedding guests, Luke got down on his knees to be at the same height as his mother who was in a wheelchair. He kissed her on the forehead, took her hand, and gently led her to the dance floor. The gesture was so beautiful, powerful and moving, that not even a single dry eye remained in the hall.
"This is probably the most emotional moment I have ever experienced", Christina said.
Less than a year later, Rebecca passed away. But as hard as it was for Luke to say goodbye, he will always have that memory: the charming smile, tears of happiness, and unforgettable moment in which he danced with his mother on his wedding day.
