Lawyer disturbed a mother who wanted to sleep during a flight, her ingenious revenge tore us apart

The mother and the lawyer

A mother of three and a lawyer sat next to each other on a flight from Los Angeles to New York. The lawyer asked the mother if she would like to play a fun game with him.

The mother, very tired after looking after her three children, just wanted to sleep. She politely refused and closed her eyes to catch a nap.

The lawyer insisted and explained that the game was easy and really fun. He said, "This is how it works. I ask you a question, and if you don't know the answer, you pay me $5, and vice versa".

Again, she refused and tried to sleep. The lawyer, now a little nervous, said, "Well, how about that? If you don't know the answer, you pay me $5, and if I don't know the answer, I'll pay you $500..".

This caught the mother's attention. She realized there would be no end to this torture unless she cooperated, so she agreed to play the game. The lawyer asked the first question: "What is the distance between the earth and the moon?"

The mother didn't know the answer and couldn't say a word, so reached for her pocket, took $5 and gave them to the lawyer. "Good..", the lawyer said. "Now it's your turn".

She asked the lawyer, "What goes up the hill with three legs and goes down with four legs?"

The lawyer, confused, pulls out his laptop and searches the databases, but finds no answer. He connects to the Internet and spends 20 minutes searching Google, but without success. He even searched the Library of the Congress, no answer..

Frustrated, he sends emails to all his friends and workmates, but no one knows the answer..

After about an hour, he wakes the woman up and gives her $500. The mother said, "Thank you very much", turned her back and went back to sleep.

At this point the lawyer was already quite angry, waking up the mother and asking, "Well, what's the answer?!?".

Without saying a word, the mother reaches over to her pocket, gave the lawyer another $5, and went back to sleep..

The moral of the story: Even if you attended a prestigious university and have a glittering degree, don't mess with a mom who needs her sleep. She will cheat on you every day of the week!
