A rude passenger on a plane told a mother to shut up - so the flight attendant did something that shocked everyone
|
Mom Marissa Randall knew that taking her baby on a flight would be quite a challenge. Like all parents of babies, she was nervous about flying with her 8-month-old son, Mason.
Everything seemed to be going according to plan and Mason was calm when Marissa took her seat. But suddenly the flight took a turn for the worse when a passenger took the seat next to Marissa.
Like Marissa, the woman was assigned a seat in the back of the plane and didn’t like it at all.
“She got to her seat and slammed her bags down, and she said: 'This is fucking ridiculous, this is bullshit that I have to sit in the back of the plane'”, Marissa said.
Marissa asked the woman to please not curse, but she ignored her.
“I asked her again to please not curse, she told me to shut up and go to hell. That’s when one of the flight attendants came over and asked what the problem was”, Marissa said.
The woman told the flight attendant that she didn’t want to sit next to a baby and she got very angry.
The flight attendant, Tabitha, patiently listened to the woman’s complaints and offered to put her on the next flight, which made her even angrier. That’s when she threatened to fire the flight attendant, asked for her details, and said that she would no longer have a job tomorrow.
Tabitha complied with the woman’s request and gave her her details.
At that moment, Tabitha had had enough and told the woman that she would have to get off the plane. The angry passenger apologized and asked the flight attendant to be considerate.
Tabitha called another airline employee and asked her to get the passenger off the flight.
The rude passenger continued to try to apologize to get out of the situation, but after a few minutes, she returned to her seat to get her bags and got off the plane.
Marissa, on the other hand, is grateful for all the help she received from Delta Air Lines.
“The flight crew was just wonderful”, Marissa said.
Please share if you also think the situation was handled excellently by the airline!
