Have you ever thought that maybe there’s someone up there among the clouds watching over us? Maybe an old friend, a departed family member, or a loved one - whoever they are, they just want to know we’re doing okay down here on Earth. And sometimes, they’re there for us in our most vulnerable moments.

Some people believe that angels truly exist, while others are convinced they don’t. The Parker family definitely began leaning toward the believers - after dad Stephen survived a horrific car accident.

It all started when Stephen Parker and his two sons, Mason and J.T., were working on the family car in their backyard. To lift the car, both Stephen and Mason, who was 17 at the time, needed to work together.

After they lifted the vehicle, Mason accidentally injured himself and went inside to treat some scratches. Meanwhile, Stephen and his younger son J.T., then 8 years old, stayed outside.

Trapped Under the Car

While the older son Mason was inside tending to his wounds, something terrifying happened. The jack slipped while Stephen was still under the car - its full weight came crashing down on him, crushing his body and cutting off his ability to breathe.

“I was completely trapped - I couldn’t move at all,” Stephen told Inside Edition.

Young J.T. was on the other side of the car and couldn’t see his father. Stephen was painfully aware that he had only one chance to survive: someone had to lift the heavy car with the jack.

On the Brink of Losing Consciousness

At first, Stephen didn’t call out to J.T., not wanting his son to carry the traumatic guilt if he failed to lift the car. But seconds later, as he began slipping out of consciousness, he cried out for his 8-year-old son.

J.T. instantly understood the gravity of the situation. But Stephen barely remembers what happened next.

“I wasn’t there anymore. I just had this calm, peaceful feeling,” he said.

He Lifted the Jack

The car needed to be lifted quickly - Stephen had only minutes before he would be crushed to death. His only hope lay in the hands of his 8-year-old son.

Without hesitation, the boy summoned every ounce of strength he could and managed to raise the car using the jack. Despite weighing only 45 kg (99 lbs), J.T. lifted the car within minutes - and saved his father’s life.

“It was scary. I didn’t think I could lift the car. But I just kept trying,” J.T. told Inside Edition.

For the Parker family, there was no doubt: an angel was present that day.

“It made me realize we’re not alone. There are higher powers watching over us,” Stephen said.

No matter what you believe, it’s nothing short of a miracle that the family’s youngest member was able to save his father’s life - somehow finding the strength to lift a heavy car using a jack.

I truly believe angels were there that day, giving that little boy the strength he needed. Share this if you believe it too!
