Neglected dog was chained in the snow for 4 years - now watch as an animal hero stepped in and did this

We do believe that most people respect animals and agree that they should be treated with compassion and love.

But unfortunately, there are still people everywhere who don't really understand the responsibility of raising a pet. Unfortunately, these stories reach the media quite a bit.

And this is one of those stories.

What the dog Diesel had to endure for years is simply unforgivable. He was chained, alone, in the freezing cold.

Some of Diesel's history must not be forgotten, to remember the good forces out there that are always on the animal's side.

Meet Diesel, he was found living a life that no dog can afford.

For four years, he was tied up outside in Yukon, Canada, where the temperature in winter reaches minus 30 and even more.

While Diesel was tied up, he never received warmth and love - and instead was frequently beaten by his owner, and even attacked by other animals.

As the photos reveal, Diesel is injured, with dried blood and ice covering all of his fur.

Fortunately, Animal Advocates society heard about Diesel and saved the dog from a life of misery.

He was flown to a rehabilitation center, where he received the care and love he needed.

And the association also started working with him so that he could trust humans again and be a candidate for adoption.

After some time in foster homes, the people who rescued him came to visit him.

According to his new owners, Diesel was an extremely friendly dog, a real 'big bear'.

He turned from a shy and introverted dog into a dog that greets everyone who approaches him. His true nature was revealed and it was clear that Diesel is a sweet, wonderful and loving dog.

We think that while we can focus on the brutal abuse he suffered for years, we'd rather focus on the positive outcome.

We are so happy that this dog finally got the home he so deserves.
