A Mother bought a knife stand for $3 and turned it into something every parent would want for their children

Serena Appiah, a mother and founder of the blog Thrift Diving, had a problem - she couldn't keep her children's room neat and organized.
This is a problem that many parents suffer from. Their children have many toys, clothes, school things, and books, and sometimes, it seems as if a clutter bomb has exploded inside the room.
Known for her creative mind and thinking outside the box, Serena tried to think of a solution. While at the thrift store - one of her great hobbies - she had an epiphany. She knew exactly how she could solve the problem!
Serena was walking around a thrift store when she suddenly came across a shelf full of knife holders. "I was walking by the knife racks when suddenly inspiration hit me. I knew I had to buy one. And how glad I am that I did!", She said.
Serena envisioned turning a knife stand into an organizer that could store her children's school supplies.
First, she used a drill to enlarge the slots that were intended for the knives.
She thought it would be nice if the slots matched the chalks.
Next, she added space for a brush and scissors. And finally, she painted it a beautiful blue and added washi tape for decoration.
Look how beautiful!
