Bradley North, a 13-year-old student from England, became a hero when he found himself saving a dog's life from an unusual but very sad situation.
Bradley and his friends were walking home from school when he noticed a huge dog inside a van with the dog's paw resting on a half-open window.
When he got closer, he noticed the broken window glass on the floor. He watched in horror as the dog - Boo, jumped to the window while tied by his leash, causing him to suffocate and pass out.
Bradley ran to the rescue of the Dogue de Bordeaux, who was hanging, helpless, with bleeding legs. He managed to release the dog from the leash, and sat with it, petting and calming it.
He waited 15 minutes until the dog's owner returned to the scene.
The owner was grateful for Bradley's help in saving his dog. "I have dogs at home too, I hope someone would do the same to help my dogs", Bradley said. "I was a little scared, but the most important thing is that the dog is fine".
Alanka Kilmas, who was passing by, filmed the dramatic event, which has since gone viral across the web.
People all over the world hailed and praised Bradley and called him a hero. And rightly so.
