|
We have wonderful news for all of you who like to eat cheese: it turns out that your favorite dairy product will help you live longer.
According to a study published in Nature Medicine, aged cheeses contain a special chemical that helps significantly reduce the risk of heart disease, slightly slowing down the aging process, and increasing the average life expectancy.
The researchers initially performed experiments on laboratory mice and found that the life expentancy of the mice that consumed dietary products regularly was longer.
A survey of 800 people in Italy found that those who ate cheese regularly suffered less from high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease. Their risk of heart failure was 40% lower than those who did not eat cheese.
The researchers believe that the chemical compound found in cheese (Polyamine) helps the body's cells get rid of toxins and damaged particles, and has a positive effect on the body and it even helps the body to rejuvenate itself physically.
Of course it is important to remember that cheese contains many calories and fat and can be harmful to some people. But that doesn't mean that those who do not eat cheese have no chance of prolonging their lives.
The polyamine found in aged cheeses is found in other food products, such as green peas, sweet corn, soybeans, and wheat foods. But cheese has one advantage over the rest - it's just tastier!
