A rich man belittled a woman because she didn't earn enough. Her response left him without words

Teachers influence us alot as we grow up. Too many people forget it. And if you need proof - ask yourself what was the name of the teacher who taught you in first grade. We are sure 99% of you will remember.
When we watch the news we usually hear the names of many CEOs and senior business people. There are certainly responsible and good CEOs, but there are also many who are not the best of people. And although the news talk a lot about CEO's bonuses and salaries, the same news and media channels are the ones that usually portray them as role models.
So here's another idea.. and maybe also some inspiration..
Guests at dinner sat around the table talking about life. One man, CEO, decided to explain his problem with education.
He claimed: "What would a child learn from someone who decided his best option in life was to become a teacher?"
He reminded other guests of what teachers say, "those who can - do, those who can't - teach".
To emphasize the point, he said to another guest, "You're a teacher, Bonnie. Be honest. How much do you do a month?". Bonnie, who was known for her honesty and directness, replied, "Do you want to know how much I earn?", She paused for a moment and then she began..
"Well, I make kids work harder than they ever thought they could. I make them feel like getting a 'C' in an exam feels like winning gold medal.
I make kids capable of sitting for 40 minutes in class and listen while their parents can't make them sit for 5 minutes without an iPhone or a tablet". She paused again, looked at everyone sitting at the table, and continued.. "Want to know how much I do?"
"I make kids dream."
"I make kids ask questions."
"I make kids apologize and mean it."
"I respectfully take responsibility for their actions."
"I teach them how to write and then make them write. A keyboard is not everything."
"I make them read, read and read."
"I make them see their work in math. They use their brains, not the calculator. I make my students from other countries learn English while maintaining their cultural identity."
"I make the classroom a place where all students feel safe."
"I make them realize that if they'll use the gifts they received, work hard, and follow their heart, they will succeed."
Stopping for the last time, Bonnie continued.. "So, when people try to judge me by how much I do a month, knowing that money is not everything, I can walk with my head up and not relate because they are ignorant. You want to know how much I do?"
"I do a difference."
"And how much do you make, Mr. CEO?"
His jaw dropped and he couldn't say a word.
A teacher shapes your child's brain and is the biggest influencer besides you as a parent.
Teachers don't get the appreciation they deserve for what they give your child, and the rewards are far greater than the money they earn, because they give your child the foundation to live life and achieve great things, and that's something that can't be measured by money!
Don't educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy so they know the value of things and not their price.
