During his morning run he found something heartbreaking on the floor, and after 5 weeks his wonderful deed paid off
|
A man in his morning run had found a newborn chick.
He fell out of his nest and still had parts of the egg shell. His chances of survining were very small. The man who found him wanted to put him back in the nest, but he didn't find it around. Fortunately, the runner's brother is a veterinarian. What happened in the weeks that followed was nothing less than a miracle, and also gave him a chance to see how a chick develops from the moment it emerges, until it becomes a beautiful and impressive bird.
Day 1 - This is what a chick looks like immediately after it emerges from the egg. No one could tell what bird it was.
Day 2 - He put the cute creature into an incubator set at the correct temperature and humidity to keep it warm and pleasant. He called the chick Duckling.
Day 3 - For 14 hours a day, the chick should eat every 30 minutes. Worms, crickets, and special formula were on the menu.
Day 4 - After four days, you can start seeing feathers. It's amazing how fast these animals evolve. His instincts are already working well, when the chick begins to do his needs at the edge of the nest, just like in nature.
Day 5 - One day later, more feathers began to appear, and he managed to change postures.
Day 6 - The feathers still have a protective layer
Day 7 - and a day later, at the age of one week, the protective layer fell
Day 8 - The chick continues to grow. He eats three crickets and a few worms at each meal, and he has an excellent appetite
Day 9 - Now he can be taken out of the incubator when he has a beautiful fuzz
Day 10 - Duckling moved to the cage and exposed to all kinds of natural materials
Day 11 - Because he is still so young, he hasn't yet had a feather tail
Day 12 - Cereals were added to his menu, and he's no longer fed with worms, but he eats them himself
Day 13 - Duckling slowly finds his stability
Day 14 - It's amazing that after only two weeks, this little chick has become a beautiful bird. How fast they grow ...
Day 17 - He's moved again, this time to a larger cage. His rescuers added branches and leaves to get him used to the trees
Day 22 - Now comes the stage of adaptation to the weather. They put the cage out so that Duckling could communicate with other birds and learn to squeak.
Day 23 - Here you can see his beautiful flume, which reveals to us that he is a Passer.
Day 25 - His feathers will also be used as camouflage in trees
Day 27 - His menu now consists only of seeds and worms. He no longer likes crickets
Day 29 - In nature he likes to eat buds of plants
Day 33 - Finally, Duckling is ready to return to nature. But because there were reports of storms, his rescuers decided to wait
Day 36 - After the storm, the 36th day was perfect to free Duckling. They took him close to where they found him so he could find birds of his kind.
After a few minutes he hopped out and began to behave like a normal bird living in nature. Of course, the professional preparation was excellent and helped him adapt quickly to his new environment.
Duckling slipped away from death by the wonderful treatment he had received. Thanks to his extractors, we have been given a rare glimpse into the development of a chick from its first day.
