Mother was rushed to the hospital to give birth to a triplet - so the doctors looked closely at their faces and froze

Finding out that you are expecting a triplet is a shock for every mother. So when the doctors told 23 year old Becki-Jo Allen she was pregnant with three children in her stomach, she was shocked.
But as soon as Becki gave birth to the babies, she got another surprise - one that nobody was prepared for. It turns out that her three baby boys are very rare: they are an identical triplet. What are the chances? 1 to 200 million.
About two years ago, Becky-Jo Allen and Liam Tierney had good news to tell their daughter, Indiana. She was going to become a big sister.
The couple, who live in Liverpool, England, thought of bringing another child, but they had no idea how many more children they would have until Becky-Jo Allen saw her ultrasound examination.
Early in her pregnancy, Becki suffered from severe headaches. The doctors had prescribed her ultrasound early, and that was when the couple learned the news: Becki was pregnant with a triplet.
"It was the biggest shock of my life! We do not have a triplet in our family so it came out of nowhere", Becki-Jo said to the Liverpool Echo.
The three boys, Roman, Rocco and Rohan, were born by caesarean surgery when Becki was in her 31st week of pregnancy. The children weighed about 1.5 kg and had to stay in the hospital for a month and a half.
Pregnancy with a triplet usually brings many complications with it, and it's rare that all three babies survive.
Fortunately, all three boys survived and began to gain weight. And after a month and a half in the hospital, the little trio wer ready to come home.
The doctors said the triplet were not identical. But everyone who visited the family saw how similar they were. So Becki-Jo decided to investigate.
She contacted a company to conduct a DNA test. After taking samples and sending them to the lab, she got the answer. Roman, Rocco and Rohan were genetically identical.
Triplets' births have become more frequent in recent years due to various fertility treatments. But an identical triplet is incredibly rare.
It's very rare that an egg splits into two and then splits again during the first few days of pregnancy. In the United States in 2015, four identical triplets were born.
Roman, Rocco, and Rohan are certainly identical. But Becki-Jo has no problem identifyin each one of them.
"Only when they sleep do they look the same to me. But each has a different character. And they all have a birthmark between the eyebrows, but a little darker than the others, and Rohan has a birthmark on his leg", Becki-Jo said.
The trio uses about 130 diapers a week. Add five wipes packs a week, and you can understand that the parents of these little ones don't have a moment of rest.
The 6 year old Indiana looks very happy with her little brothers. What a proud big sister!
"Indiana loves them. She is not jealous at all. But I do feel a little sorry for her when I think of the things she will have to deal with in the future when she grows up at home with three little brothers", Becki-Jo said.
Meanwhile, these little cute ones will receive a lot of attention. And we think they definitely deserves it, because they're such a cute bunch!
