14 Year old girl bought an old caravan from 1974 and turned it single handedly into something amazing

Lots of kids spend their summers hanging out with friends, going to the pool or the mall, or just relaxing at home after a long school year, but not Ellie Yeater.
The 14-year-old girl spent her summer vacation fixing up an old caravan from 1974 into something she calls a "Glamper."
She told the interviewer that fixing up the caravan will make her trips in nature more comfortable and a lot more fun. You won’t believe how it looks after her renovations.
Her mom, Laurie, mentioned that Ellie saved $500 from birthday money, doing chores, and other odd jobs to buy supplies for the renovation. Here’s a picture of the caravan before she started working on it:
When asked about the caravan, Ellie said she found it in a local online group for $200. She bought it and then used the rest of her money to get paint, flooring, and decorations.
She also mentioned that the caravan was in pretty rough shape since the last owner used it for camping and hunting. "It was in a very... very bad condition," her mom said.
The original idea came from her brother Isiah, who built a small hut for himself and his friends. Ellie wanted something similar for her and her friends, but closer to home and with electricity and Wi-Fi.
To start the renovation, she had to take the van apart completely. After that, she painted it in a color called Mystic Sea.
In the picture above, she’s removing leftover glue from the floor after taking it apart. Her grandfather Lawrence is also teaching her some basic carpentry skills.
Next, she picked a basic color for the van. She carefully painted the inside, changing it from a boring color to something more modern.
In the final stages, she added the finishing touches. Her grandmother, Mary, helped with the upholstery while Ellie installed the tiles.
She said she collected a lot of items for the renovation. In the picture below, she’s showing off a display doll she found at a garage sale that was closing down. She got a lot of inspiration for this project from Pinterest.
Now the "Glamper" is almost finished. She keeps adding decorations like a vintage camera, a retro fan, and decorative napkins made by her grandmother.
When asked what she plans to do after finishing the project, she said she’ll invite her friends over to sleep in the caravan or maybe find some quiet time to read.
With determination, the caravan Ellie created is just amazing. Taking on such a big project all by herself is inspiring, especially for someone her age.
When her mom was asked why Ellie took on such a big project, she replied that she "never told her she couldn't do anything," and with that kind of support, Ellie went on to create something truly special.
