If you expected an ordinary floor, think again.
The user TonyaTooners from Imgur.com didn't want to do a regular living room floor in her home.
So she decided to do something a little more creative. And instead of going to the store, she went to the Bank close to her home and exchanged $150 to 15,000 penny coins.
She wanted to cover the whole living room in coins. And because she had a plan in her mind, she separated the shiny coins from darker ones.
With coins separated in two bowls, she began to organize them from the center of the room towards the corners.
The work was hard and required alot of patience
She used a diamond pattern, but as she approached the walls, she needed to rethink about it again. She eventually settled for a zig-zag pattern.
And finally, she finished the first corner
From there she continued her work along the wall and into the next corner. Amazing!
Almost done
When all the coins in place, it's now time to clean up and run over with a layer of epoxy glue
Think the attention to the small details of Tonya is good, right? Well, look closely and you'll see how all the coins are arranged exactly in the same direction. Wow!
And the end result! a DIY coins floor
