Margaret Manning, 76-year-old woman from Michigan, was reported missing after according to reports she disappeared during a magic show at the famous Casino Royale.
The woman was chosen from the audience to participate in a magic trick during which the rookie magician made her disappear, but failed to make her reappear.
The wizard, named Erasmus The Great, asked Mrs. Manning to get into a big box made of glass walls, before he put a black velvet robe and "disappeared" her. The old woman had indeed disappeared from the box, but didn't appear again as the magician tried to do his trick moments later.
Relatives of the woman began screaming in panic when they noticed something was wrong. The crowd was evacuated from the place after a few minutes, and security officials and policemen were called to Las Vegas to search for the woman. They searched the whole building for hours but didn't find a trace of Mrs. Manning.
"I don't understand. There is a hidden door, it is mechanical, she can't really disappear", said the magician who was in a state of shock. "What stage assistant said she never came out of the other side, but it's not possible! It's like she disappeared completely".
The Police opened an investigation that will hopefully find out exactly what happened to the missing grandmother on stage.
