If you're not wrapping your old toilet paper rolls in wool, you're really missing out..

Decorating and designing a nursery can be an expensive business. From cribs to play areas to toys and dolls – even the paint – it adds up to quite a bit.
That’s why fun and stylish DIY accessories are just as good.
Check out this adorable DIY pom-pom rug for your nursery.
It looks great, and if you have little ones who are still learning to crawl, it's also the perfect surface to keep their knees and feet safe. Here's how to make it..
You'll need wool in a variety of sizes and colors, depending on your preference, two empty toilet paper rolls, scissors, and a non-stick rug mat base (Google non-stick rug mat).
First, put your fingers in the holes and start rolling the wool
Continue until you have something like the size in the picture below. The pompoms can be different sizes, so don't worry about the small details.
Cut another piece of wool and weave it between the toilet paper rolls
Knot once and pull the rolls out
Now, tighten the wool thread and tie it off. It's important to make sure you leave a long thread - you'll need it later.
Now start cutting the pompoms from the side. Cut as many as you want.
Lay them out on the mat to see if you need to make more. Make enough so that you can place them close together, so that there are no gaps.
Remember that extra thread you had left? Use it to tie the pompoms through the mat.
And this is the end result!
This is a cheap and creative way to upgrade a room, and it will also keep your feet warm on those cold winter days. What a great idea!
