27 Year-old girl is about to become the first woman who travelled to every country in the world

If someone were to travel to 50 countries, we would be impressed. If they visited 100 countries, our admiration would grow even greater. However, if someone were to journey to every country in the world and become the first documented woman to visit all 196 countries in the shortest time possible... well, we would be utterly amazed.
That is precisely what Cassandra De Pecol is achieving.
At just 27 years old, Cassandra, hailing from Connecticut, United States, has already visited 181 countries since July 2015. With only 15 countries remaining and a mere 40 days left, she is on the most efficient route to break the Guinness World Record for the fastest individual to visit all sovereign nations (including an additional 11 countries).
She refers to her remarkable journey as Expedition196, and she is traveling as a peace ambassador on behalf of the International Institute for Peace through Tourism.
While we may not be able to undertake such an extraordinary adventure, we can at least follow her journey on Instagram.
