Bullying is never good - not among children or adults. It can destroy lives and doesn't help anyone. Exposing a person regularly to physical or mental abuse is cowardly, but unfortunately some people can be very cruel.

If there's one thing that makes us happy, it's when people who have been bullied overcome the difficulties and reape the reins of life again, especially when the bullies get to eat the porridge they cooked. It is very hard for us to feel empathy toward people who deliberately abuse others.

Louisa Manning was a victim of daily bullying at school, but 10 years later she finally got her revenge!

When she was 12 years old, a gang of kids kept bullying her on a daily basis because of what she looked like. She received disgusting reactions and incessant psychological abuse - something no child should experience.

Invited on a date by the bully

But Louisa is a strong girl (and now a strong woman) and didn't let the terrible days in school affect her life. Over time, she began to love herself again - and 10 years later, Louisa, 22, was invited to a date. And she wrote a post about it.

And the guy who invited her on a date was none other than one of the kids who used to bully her back at school.

"My instinct was to say no", Louisa said.

But she agreed, and instead, she organized a clever plot along with her friends.

So when the bully was waiting for his date at the restaurant where they arranged to meet, he was unexpectedly surprised. Louisa asked one of the workers instead to give him an old picture of her and on the back of the picture she wrote him a letter.

In the letter, she wrote:

"Hey [deleted name]

I'm so sorry I can't join you tonight.

Remember year 8, when I was fat and you made fun of my weight? No? I do - I spent the following three years eating less than an apple a day. So I've decided to skip dinner.

"You called me a monster ..."

"Remember the monobrow you mocked? The hairy legs you were disgusted by? Remember how every day for three years, you and your friends called me manbeast? No, perhaps you don't, or you wouldn't have seen how I look eight years later to deemed me 'Attractive' enough to treat me like a human being.

I thought I'd send you this as a reminder. The next time you think of me, imagine the girl in the photo, because she's the one who just stood you up..

Louisa".

The guy, to Louisa's surprise, contacted her through Facebook and apologized for his disgusting behavior eight years ago.

"Hey.. I don't know if it matters now, but I wanted a chance to meet so we could be friends, not because you look good, I guess I deserve it, and certainly don't blame you for letting me go.

I can’t change who I was 8 years ago, and I won’t insult your intelligence by pretending it didn’t happen, but I hope you believe me when I say I’m a different person now.

The only thing I can do is apologize and wish you all the best in the world. I guess I will not hear from you again, but I mean it when I say I hope you win all the success you deserve", the former thug wrote.

We are glad that Louisa had a chance to tell her bully how she felt all these years. This is perhaps a turning point for her - this brave girl can be an excellent example of others who are in the same situation.

Share the story if you enjoyed Louisa's revenge! She certainly made us smile.
